Ways to Complain


Until further notice, our office is closed to the public and we are not conducting any in-person meetings. You can still make a complaint by phone, email, mail, and through our website.

Our phone lines are open to the public Monday to Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. We are closed from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. daily.

If English is not your first language, we have access to basic translation services that can help us serve you in more than 100 languages.

If you do not have a computer and want to make an online complaint, we encourage you to use a free computer at one of the Toronto Public Library’s 99 branches.                      

Complaint Checklist 

Your complaint should include:
  • why you are dissatisfied
  • when the issue(s) occurred
  • who was involved
  • what was said or done
  • your desired outcome 
  • your contact information, including a telephone number if you have one
