Ways to Complain
Until further notice, our office is closed to the public and we are not conducting any in-person meetings. You can still make a complaint by phone, email, mail, and through our website.
You can submit your complaint to Ombudsman Toronto by phone, mail, fax, email, or through our online complaint form.

Our phone lines are open to the public Monday to Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. We are closed from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. daily.
If English is not your first language, we have access to basic translation services that can help us serve you in more than 100 languages.
If you do not have a computer and want to make an online complaint, we encourage you to use a free computer at one of the Toronto Public Library’s 99 branches.
Your complaint should include:
- why you are dissatisfied
- when the issue(s) occurred
- who was involved
- what was said or done
- your desired outcome
- your contact information, including a telephone number if you have one
