Ways to Complain

You can submit your complaint to Ombudsman Toronto by phone, mail, fax, email, in person, or online through our online complaint form.

If you plan to come to our office to make or discuss a complaint, please consider calling us first, so that we can be sure to have someone immediately available to meet with you. 

If English is not your first language, we have access to basic translation services that can help us serve you in more than 100 languages.
 
If you do not have a computer and want to make an online complaint, we encourage you to use a free computer at one of the Toronto Public Library’s 99 branches.                      

Complaint Checklist 

 
Your complaint should include:
  • why you are dissatisfied
  • when the issue(s) occurred
  • who was involved
  • what was said or done
  • your desired outcome
